Q: How can I order a bag? 

A: We restock our website at least once a month by “Collection Drops”

Collection Drops are an assortment of creations including select best sellers and one of a kind works. Drops are done in small batches. Each bag pictured is the exact one you can order. These pieces are already made and ready to ship when purchased.

Q: I'm interested in sending in my saddle for repurposing, how do I start?

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: Items that are ‘Ready to Ship’ will be packaged and sent out in 3-4 business days. Items that are ‘Made to Order’ will take up to 8-9 weeks to be completed and prepared for shipping. Once shipped, delivery times will vary but usually fall between 3-7 business days. Please refer to the product’s description to find whether it is ‘made to order’ or ‘ready to ship’.

If tracking indicates that your order has been delivered, Calyse is not responsible for undelivered, stolen or lost packages. Orders exceeding a value of $400 will require a signature upon delivery. If you would like to require a signature on your order under $400 please leave a note in checkout or send an email. 

For your convenience, if you wish to forego the signature confirmation on your package, please let me know immediately and I will remove the request on your package prior to being shipped. Please understand that with doing so, I cannot be held responsible or assist in any way if your package is missing or stolen. 


Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, I do! Please note that your package may be subject to additional fees upon arrival. Calyse is not responsible for these charges. 


Q: Do you have a store?

A: I have a showroom based out of my 1700's barn studio that I am happy to invite customers in to see my work in person, pick up orders, or shop my in stock inventory if available. My hours are by appointment, call or email to set up a visit!


Q: If I am suppling a saddle for my bag, is there a discount?

A: I am unable to give discounts for Repurposed Saddle Bag projects, and I'd love to explain why! All of my pricing for repurposed saddle bags (supplied or not) are made up of only my labor and shop supplies. You are not paying anything towards any leather cost. You also receive the benefit of adding any personalization free of charge! This is an incredibly personal service in terms of having a handbag made and I am here to dedicate extended amounts of time to ensure you receive the very best product and service. 


Q: I don't have a saddle to send in, but I want a saddle bag! How do I get one?

A: Check out the Offerings page for ready-made creations!


Q: Can I have just my halter, bridle or nameplate incorporate into a bag style?

A: Absolutely! There are quite a few styles where this can be applied. Send me an email to get started. 


Q: I have old saddles, do you need any?

A: I am very happy and grateful to take in any saddle / tack donations that I can pick up within driving distance of my studio. So many tack items are discarded to the landfill everyday. This issue is part of what sparked my interest in repurposing the beautiful tack that may not be safe to use in the sport anymore.
